First TranceBreaker Podcast

Curious about hypnosis? Then you've come to the right place. The intent of this podcast is to introduce people to the deep healing powers of the subconscious mind. I'm Rick Reynolds and I'm a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and the creator of a group process called TranceBreakers. A TranceBreakers group is devoted to harnessing group energy to help break negative trances that we all find ourselves in. This is the first podcast for TranceBreakers. This show features the trance "Deep and Complete Self Acceptance". The trance was originally created as part of a series of Trances designed to be used in combinatiuon with an energy therapy known as "Emotional Freedom Technique".

Deep and complete self acceptance is the foundation for much of the healing work that happens in hypnotherapy so this is a great introduction to hypnotic states and experience. The trance lasts about 25 minutes and begins about 30 minutes into the podcast.

It is best to listen to the trance portion of the podcast in a place where you can close your eyes and give the recording your full attention. If you would like to first learn more about hypnotic experiences and what you're in for, please visit my website at Hypnoki..com

The Podcast features music by Paul Michael Meredith from his "Day Break" album . You can order his music at Peaceful Music.com.

I also mention a new book available from The New Perspective.

I want to extend my thanks again to Paul Michael Meredith for the use of his beautiful music. Here's some more information on Paul from his www.peacefulmusic.com website.

Bay Area harpist and composer Paul Michael Meredith is a truly original artist and musical storyteller. His passionate works evolved out of a growing love affair with the harp as a compositional instrument.

Combining two of the oldest instruments, harp and flute, as well as other instrumentation, Paul weaves melodies that are timeless and heart stirring. Recorded and produced in his private digital studio, Paul's music embodies a depth of feeling and inspiration that's immediately embraced by the ears and heart of the listener. Perhaps one appreciator said it best with, "this music is so passionate, it deserves a warning label."

Born in England in 1952, Paul came to California with his family when he was seven. His love of music was obvious in 3rd grade as he played "America the Beautiful" on the harmonica every morning as part of the class pledge of allegiance.

Like many, Paul was deeply moved and inspired by the Beatles' new sound. He began composing on the guitar when he was twelve. Paul was with several musical groups as a singer, but he was never so inspired as when he was composing.

After many years and much experimentation, Paul discovered the most inspiring and sensitive instrument of all, the harp. This began the unique and peaceful style you hear in Paul's recordings.

In 1994, Paul created Cypress Hollow Music, a name he derived from the beauty and peacefulness of the Mendocino and Monterey coasts of California.

Inspired by nature's beauty, and with little formal music training, Paul composes and arranges music by ear and from the heart. Asked how he writes music: "I don't think about music theoretically. I just listen, and when there is beauty in it, I record it."

This is what draws people to Paul's music. It is beautiful. It is peaceful. Listeners report that Paul's music touches something deep within them. Comments by listeners are here

Paul is active on the show scene. At Art and Wine Festivals, Indoor Gift Shows, and Home & Garden Shows, Paul delights in meeting face to face with old and new followers. "This is a wonderful way to make personal contact with my listeners."

Paul is most appreciative to his listeners: "I thank you, my many listeners, for your support. My fondest wish is that my music brings a little more love and joy into your hearts."
